We have a particular child in our family with her own definate sense of style - Cherub 5. Eccentric would be a good description to start with.
She has been working with much determination on DadToCherubs for over a year to be allowed to "just put a streak of PURPLE here" (along the front of her lovely blond hair). And weekend before last, she BROKE him .... he stopped to buy some Temporary Hair Color in a bright violet shade.
So ...... we colored her "streak" ...... however, after the color was washed out and dried, it was clear that the PURPLE did not take, but instead turned her streak a bright blue.
Well, she was pleased anyway (even though it was not purple as she had hoped) .....
And now, a week later, the color has washed away .... and she is blond again. So now we are left wondering what she will think of next ?!??!

Hahahahaha. Yep, that's my girl. :) Maybe one of these days she'll inspire me to get out of my box. On that day we'll BOTH be walking around with purple hair!! You see? She and I are good for each other!! ;)
