They Grow Up Too Fast

Yesterday was JUST April 1994, or maybe it was the day before ??
That is the year Cherub 1 was born. So I am quite sure that it was just a few days ago ...

Oh, maybe it was a week or two ago, because it was yesterday that he was 5yo and started school ....

And today he is 14 1/2 yo (no - today is NOT his birthday) .... and that is not the worst part (HA !) ....
TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF HIS FIRST "REAL" JOB !!

He has been hired to feed and care for the calves every Morning and every Evening .... mixing their bottles and feeding them, cleaning out their stalls ....

Cherub 1 is pleased to be tasked with such a responsibility, and is also pleased to be working with animals. And of course he is also thrilled to have the opportunity to earn money on his own too. The farm owners cannot seem to tell us enough how hard working, responsible, and dedicated he is ... and they tell us he is the most polite young man they have ever employed. Hummmmmmm. Young MAN ????

However, I am not sure he is old enough for all of this .... a job .... money ... being a young MAN ... because he WAS just 5yo the other day ...

(He is growing up MUCH too fast. I am not sure ... where did the time go ??)
