A Not-So Happy Birthday ....

... it was only NOT-SO-HAPPY because for his birthday he got ... the FLU. Early early this morning he woke up with a severe headache, 103 fever, hurting ears, sore throat, cough .... the works. He had some OJ for breakfast, chicken broth for lunch, and beef vegetable soup for dinner .... and some strawberry icecream (his favorite - but it made his cough worse).

It seems hard to believe that Cherub 3 is 11yo today .... he was just a baby when we moved to Tennessee .... that was a longgggggg time ago .... and yet only yesterday ....

Always a ham .... here he is iceskating in Maryland.

And sledding .... he LOVED playing in the snow ...

This was his Christmas 2006 photo. How handsome !! I only wish I had some photos of him wearing the bow ties he once loved so much .....

And still a ham ... he took this photo of himself just a week ago. (We get lots of these SELF-taken photos from him, mostly with crazy faces. HA !!)
