We Have WATER ...

Yesterday, the Firetruck arrived at 10 o'clock sharp .... then they left to refill, and were back to finish filling the pool by 11 o'clock. WOW - that was FASTTTTTT !!
At just a few minutes after 10am, the Firemen began filling to pool .... and let each child "toot" the horn ... and the firemen talked to everyone about Wild Hoses, and how the hoses are constructed, and about the Pumper Truck itself ....
Just after the pool was full, and the firetruck was gone, a question was posed .... who gets to get into the pool first ??

A vote was cast by all of the family members -- Who Worked The Hardest Cleaning This Morning ? (preparation for company coming this weekend).

When teh votes were counted, we had a TIE .... Cherub 2 and Cherub 3 were voted Hardest Workers !

So DadToCherubs did the old "pick a number between 1 and 5" trick ... the ladder is only big enough for 1 person to cross over at a time ... and there can be only one FIRST person in, logic reasons. (HA !) Cherub 2 WON.

So Cherub 2 got into the pool first ....

And Cherub 3 got to get in second.

Everyone swam for most of the day, and at 5pm the pool was cleared, the ladder removed, and the water was tested. Then the first round of Chemicals was added (Shock).

The water is a bit cloudy with a slight tinge of green'ish this morning .... not too bad ... so hopefully we can get it "crystal clear" before our company arrives ...
