Update on our "winter weather" ... so far the weather forcasts say the snow is still coming. We even have an official WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY by the weather services. WOW !! Now I am trying to figure out what "lessons" we can learn IN the snow tomorrow ... I am sure we can come up with something.
Our cars have been moved - tree limbs break with ease here with just a little snow so living in the woods the cars are in the field, plus the headlights help light up the "sled paths". DadToCherubs even mowed a "sled path" with the mower today - cut really short so as to need less snow for sledding. DadToCherubs is working until 3am, and has promised to wake us up if there it at least a dusting. Sleds, mittens, hats, and gloves by the door. Hot chocolate ready to make - just have to heat the water.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM THURSDAY TO MIDNIGHT EST THURSDAY NIGHT.
A WINTRY MIX OF SNOW AND SLEET WILL DEVELOP BEFORE DAYBREAK THURSDAY LAST INTO THURSDAY EVENING. THERE MAY BE A MIX WITH LIGHT FREEZING RAIN IN THE MORNING...AND WITH LIGHT RAIN IN THE AFTERNOON.
TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING MAY TOTAL FROM 1 TO 4 INCHES. SOME LIGHT ICE ACCUMULATIONS OF AROUND 1/10 INCH WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE.
