We managed to finish tilling the top half of the garden and to get a lot planted. We planted 12 tomato plants, a sunflower bed, 8 pepper plants, 1 eggplant plant, 1 rolw of carrots, 1 row of radishes, 4 hills of 3 cucumber plants each, 6 yellow straightneck squash plants, and 6 dark green zucchini squash plants.
We still have to put in our greenbeans, peas, watermelon, cantelope, honeydew ... and we are going to try just a few rows of corn (silver queen of course).
Afterwards we set up the sprinkler to do our watering ... and I could no resist taking photos of my "ladies" who helped a lot today. (the boys helped a little, but mostly the ran and played)
